Ayurveda and Anxiety?
From an Ayurvedic perspective, anxiety is a vata disorder where vata dosha has accumulated in the nervous system. This then causes a low tolerance for stress, fear, worry and anxiety, and other symptoms associated with vata dosha. Allopathic medicine treats anxiety with meds, which while they may be helpful temporarily, they do not get to the root cause of the condition and thus after stopping the meds a relapse can be possible. Ayurveda on the other hand uses a holistic and natural approach to align your lifestyle in a way that gets to the root and not only heals completely but prevents a relapse.
